My first day back in Canada and I paid a visit to the guys at Plainsman Pottery. They hooked me up with a couple boxes of terracotta to practice on during the holiday and I also bought a metal plaster dispenser for my studio. Love the Plainsman logo!

Christmas in Canada
Wishing everyone the very best this holiday season. I will be spending time visiting family in Canada, returning to Glasgow early in the new year! Merry Christmas! X
Making an Armature
Here's a small armature I made to mock up quick sketches on. Practice makes perfect and I'm using this purely for practice, a framework upon which to build up the clay and then remove it and start over again - it's made from thin wire, newspaper and masking tape.
Concept Sketching
I have a life drawing class tomorrow and wanted to loosen up with some sketches tonight, to familiarise myself with organic shape and form. Also a Few concept ideas for medal designs. Drawing more and more often with blue pencil going back to pick out final lines if needed in regular pencil or pen.

Winter Festival
On the 1st & 2nd Dec I was at the Helensburgh Winter Festival! It was extremely busy and I gave out a ton of business cards and made some great sales. I don't usually do stall events but I live in the town and thought it would be fun to represent my business. Thanks Helensburgh!
